Ghanaian dancehall superstar Shatta Wale made major moves at the 2023 Ghana Music Awards UK, snagging several top honors including the prestigious Artiste of the Year title.
The eagerly anticipated awards ceremony took place on October 7th at the Royal Regency in London.
Going up against heavy hitter nominees like Black Sherif, Stonebwoy, and Sarkodie, Shatta Wale emerged victorious in the Artiste of the Year category. This win cements his status as one of Ghana’s leading talents.
In addition to Artiste of the Year, Shatta Wale also took home the Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year prize. He beat out competitors Epixode and Stonebwoy for the title, thanks to his smash hit song ‘On God.’
